Abu Dhabi to host second Social Care Forum 2025
text_fieldsThe second edition of the Social Care Forum 2025 opens tomorrow at Hilton Abu Dhabi – Yas Island. The two-day event, organised by the Department of Community Development, Abu Dhabi, will be held under the theme 'Future Ready Social Care: People, Practice and Policy'.
The forum is part of the Year of Community initiatives and will explore new mechanisms for advancing social care systems while addressing the evolving needs of individuals at different stages of life. It will serve as a global platform for dialogue, bringing together policymakers, experts, innovators and specialists from across the UAE and beyond.
Its agenda features interactive panel discussions, keynote talks, expert interviews, research presentations and specialised training workshops. Social care professionals in Abu Dhabi will also benefit from accredited continuous professional development hours through the program.
Running alongside the forum, an exhibition will showcase pioneering initiatives and innovative projects in the social sector. Discussions will delve into global trends in humanitarian services, strategies to attract and retain talent in the sector, and the role of digital transformation in reshaping social services.
By focusing on innovation, policy and community-driven practices, the forum aims to contribute to enhancing quality of life, ensuring the sustainability of humanitarian work and strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a hub for social development leadership.
