India’s Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth will lead a high-level Indian delegation to Saudi Arabia to take part in the third World Defence Show (WDS) 2026, scheduled for February 8 and 9, officials said.

The World Defence Show, a biennial international defence exhibition hosted by Saudi Arabia, is expected to host more than 700 exhibitors and about 400 official delegations. The Indian delegation will include senior officials from the Department of Defence Production and representatives of the Armed Forces.

During the event, Seth will inaugurate India’s first dedicated pavilion at the show. Spread across 400 square metres, the India Pavilion will present the country’s defence manufacturing and technology capabilities. Public sector defence enterprises participating include Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited, Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited, Munitions India Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited, India Optel Limited, Bharat Dynamics Limited and Yantra India Limited.

The pavilion will display a range of defence products such as tanks, artillery gun systems, missiles, ammunition and radar systems.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, a bilateral meeting is planned between the Raksha Rajya Mantri and his Saudi Arabian counterpart. Seth is also scheduled to hold discussions with representatives of leading Saudi industry bodies, focusing on defence cooperation and industrial collaboration.

Officials said the World Defence Show holds strategic importance for India’s defence sector, offering a platform to present indigenisation efforts, manufacturing strengths and technological developments, while supporting engagement with global defence partners.
