The Ministry of Interior in Kuwait will initiate a comprehensive security campaign against Residency Law violators after the two-week extension period ends on Sunday, June 30. This effort, directed by First Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior and Defense Sheikh Fahad Yousuf Saud Al-Sabah, involves all field security sectors, including residency affairs investigation, criminal investigation, rescue and special services directorates.

The campaign will target violators in all governorates, including farms, chalets and remote areas. Legal measures will be taken against those harbouring violators. Four sites have been allocated to accommodate up to 3,500 violators for deportation after necessary legal and administrative procedures, including coordination with embassies for travel documents.

Assistant Undersecretary for Private Security Affairs Major General Abdullah Saffah Al-Mulla heads the field campaign and recently held a coordination meeting with Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi and other officials. They discussed efforts to amend the status of violators, ensure comfort for expatriates in shelters and complete security procedures.

The ministry previously deported over 40,000 violators last year as part of its ongoing security efforts.
