Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met the families of security personnel killed in recent attacks during a reception at Bayan Palace on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah and Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.

The fallen personnel included Sergeant Waleed Majid Suleiman and Sergeant Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Dakhel Nasser of the Kuwaiti Navy, along with Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Imad Al-Sharrah and Major Fahad Abdulaziz Al-Mujammad from the General Administration of Land Border Security.

Officials said they were killed while carrying out duties linked to confronting Iranian attacks on Kuwait.

The Crown Prince also met the family of a child, Elna Abdullah Hussein, who died after a missile strike hit her family home during attacks on civilian areas.

During the meeting, Sheikh Sabah expressed condolences to the families and acknowledged the service and sacrifices made in protecting the country’s security.

The gathering was attended by Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan.
