Jazeera Airways appoints Barathan Pasupathi as new CEO

Barathan Pasupathi (Bara), former CFO of Jazeera Airways, steps into the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective March 26, 2024, bringing with him over 30 years of expertise in aviation, oil and gas, and supply chain management.
Marwan Boodai, Jazeera Airways Chairman, praises Rohit's visionary leadership, emphasizing his role in tripling the fleet and expanding into 65 destinations, and expresses gratitude for Rohit's contribution in outlining the airline's strong position for future success.

Rohit is a native of Kochi and has been working in the field of aviation for the last twenty-five years. He was a member of the start-up team of Air Arabia, the first low-cost airline in the Middle East, and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, the world's oldest professional body.
The new CEO, Bara, played a pivotal role in setting up Sahaab Aircraft Leasing and served a successful stint as CEO of Jetstar Asia. Boodai sees Bara's appointment as ensuring continuity and strong leadership for Jazeera Airways.
Bara's leadership style and focus on making travel accessible and affordable, while constantly innovating to offer low fares to diverse destinations across the region, is expected to maintain the operational standards of the Airways.
