Kochi: The Kerala high court on Thursday asked Ernakulam district collector to take possession of the church premises and file a report by Friday afternoon.
The court also ordered to remove squatters in the church and its compound.
A division bench issued the directive to police and the district collector responding to an interim plea which alleged that police had not implemented the high court’s order of September 20 to grant adequate police protection to Orthodox faction to conduct religious services at the church.
