Chennai: Film director Lenin Rajendran passed away on Monday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here. He was 67.
Best known for films such as 'Venal', 'Daivathinte Vikrithikal', 'Mazha', ‘Meena maasathile Sooryan’, ‘Chillu’, ‘Swathi Thirunal’, ‘Makaramanju’, ‘Edavapathi’, Lenin was one of the acclaimed filmmakers of the state.
He was known for his artistic depiction of culture of Kerala in his cinemas.
