Youth Congress activist hacked to death in Thrissur

Chavakad: The Youth Congress activist who was hacked on Wednesday day night, succumbed to wounds at a private hospital here.

Puthuveetil Noushad, 43, of Punna, was attacked by a group of unidentified assailants at Chavakkad town.

The assailants, who came with their faces covered, attacked four congress activists including, Noushad, the booth president of the Congress in Chavakkad Municipality.

The Congress alleged that the SDPI behind the attack. The probe is underway.
