Franco Mulakkal to appear before court today

Pala: Bishop Franco Mulakkal who is remanded at the Pala Sub jail in connection with the nun abuse case will be produced before Pala judicial first class magistrate court on Saturday at 11 in the morning.

Mulakkal's remand period will expire on Saturday.

He was arrested on September 21 and was remanded on September 24.

Mulakkal is prisoner number 5968 in the jail.

Though he had filed a bail plea in the High Court, it was rejected as the court observed strong evidences against him in the case.
