Jalandhar: The priest who gave a statement against Bishop Franco Mulakkal was found dead in his room in a church at Bhogpur on Monday morning.
Father Kuriakose Kattuthara, 60, had been keeping indifferent health from age-related ailments.
He had given statement against Franco Mulakkal in the nun-abuse case that rocked the state a few months ago.
His family said father Kuriakose had faced threats after his statement to the police.
Franco Mulakkal is currently out on bail in Jalandhar.
