Andhra woman reaches “Nadapanthal”, but stopped

Sabarimala: Agitating devotees stopped one more woman on Sunday as she managed to reach “ nadapanthal”( marquee) in Sabarimla, suspecting her age.

They checked her identity proof for her age. Palamma, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, turned out to be 46 years old. However, “She claimed she is 52 years” one devote said.

Police said that she came to the temple unaware of the customs.

She is the latest of be forced out of the hill shrine by vigilantes.

Two other women also had to backtrack from visiting the temple on Sunday morning.
