CPM to expose BJP's Ayodhya-Sabarimala political strategy

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central leadership of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) has decided to rebut the propaganda against the Kerala government and the CPM, in the matter of Sabarimala, by RSS and BJP in the same coin.
BJP which, in the run up to the Lo Sabha election is launching a campaign at the national level using Ram temple construction in Ayodhya, is also attempting to use the issue regarding women's entry to Sabari as a golden opportunity to polarise votes along communal lines.
Coupled with this is the BJP strategy to portray the police measures for law and order in Sabarimala as CPM's attempt to weaken Hindu faith and the devotees' pilgrimage to Sabarimala.
However, the BJP's game plan will be more playing out outside Kerala by degrading CPM along these lines. Therefore, the CPM line is to take on the BJP at the national level and to expose the latter's Ayodhya-Sabarimala political campaign.
CPM's party organ 'People's Democracy' has already made it clear that the campaign against the RSS-BJP conspiracy in Sabarimala, will form a major plank of the fight against the Hindutva communal forces. The party assesses that the revival of propaganda for Ram temple and the agitation against the Sabarimala verdict are part of the Sangh parivar agenda at a time when elections are approaching.
