Thiruvananthapuram: In its latest weather report, the India Meteorolgical Department (IMD) said the trough extending from Kerala Coast would receive heavy rainfall. The department said heavy rain over the coast is likely to continue over the next three days.
Cyclonic winds, with speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting up to 60 kmph are likely along and off the Kerala and Karnataka coasts and Lakshadweep.
The met department has cautioned against landslides, debris flows and coastal erosion are likely in parts of the state.
