Large aircrafts in Karipur, decision soon, says Minister

New Delhi: Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu has said that the decision to resume the service of large aircrafts in the Karipur International Airport will be announced soon.

M K Raghavan MP was informed this on Monday.

The Minister said that the Airport Authority and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCV) has been directed to restart the services of large aircrafts.

M K Raghavan had held a 24-hour hunger strike raising demands such as resuming the services of large aircrafts that have been stopped and re-establish the Hajj embarkation points.

Following this, the MPs had held a discussion on the matter with union Ministers and officials.
