Demonetisation a mad decision: VS

Thiruvananthapuram: CPI-M veteran V.S Achuthanandan Friday hit out at the Modi government for its demonetisation move, terming it as a mad decision.

“The Centre must withdraw its decision. Otherwise, the people will turn against them in the next election. They will queue outside polling booths to vote against the BJP,” said Achuthanandan.

“The government’s decisions on the demonetisation question were anti-people and could not be allowed to continue,” he said.

"For the last 10 days, demonetisation has been creating trouble in people’s lives, but neither the BJP nor the Prime Minister seem to be bothered by it,” he added.
