Man kills sister by slitting her throat in Kollam

Punaloor: A man killed his sister by slitting her throat at Narickal near Punalur in Kollam on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Mercith Thomas (45). The accused Thomas reportedly attempted suicide by self-immolation after the crime.

The incident happened at around 5 am on Monday.

Police believe that family dispute might have led to the crime.
