P D Joseph’s house attacked

Thrissur: An unidentified group attacked the house of P.D Joseph, who had filed a plea against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Electricity Minister Aryadan Muhammed, in the wee hours of Saturday.

The miscreants, who arrived in bikes at around 2.30 a.m, pelted stones and burnt the floor mat placed in front of the house.

P.D Joseph, a social activist, had approached the Thrissur Vigilance Court against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Minister Aryadan Muhammed based on solar scam accused Saritha S Nair’s deposal before the judicial commission.

Following that, the court had ordered an FIR to be registered against Chandy and Aryadan. However, the court’s order was stayed by the Kerala High Court on Friday.
