Thiruvananthapuram: Kozhikode, the champion district for the last nine years, continued the winning streak this year as well scoring 919 points at the 56th Kerala School Kalolsavam here on Monday.
Its closest rival, Palakkad, which shared the title last year, ended up second with 912 points followed by Kannur 903 points.
More than 10,000 students participated in 232 different categories at 19 venues in Thiruvananthapuram in the competitions that began on 19 January.
It is Kozhikode's 10th consecutive win of the Gold Cup since the 47th State School Kalolsavam that was held in Kannur.
