Two passengers drugged, robbed in Mangala Express

Shornur: Two passengers travelling on the Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Express were found sedated and robbed when the train reached the Shornur railway station on Saturday.

Amal (20) and Jinu (25), both belonging to Alappuzha, were found unconscious when the train reached the railway station.

They were admitted to nearby hospitals.

Police suspect that both, who boarded the train from Nizamuddin, consumed sedative –laced eatables from Madgaon in Goa.
