Muvattupuzha: Kerala High Court judge K.T Shankaran Saturday accused the media in Kerala of creating ambiguity in the minds of general public about the judiciary.

“Some recent news reports related to the judiciary are prone to create ambiguity in the minds of general public,” K.T Shankaran said at the inaugural function of the Vigilance court at Muvattupuzha.

“The media reports related to the judiciary may have some politics. But the judiciary will have to suffer the consequences of it. It will ultimately lead to weakening of the judicial system,” the judge said.

“They can criticise the individuals and the court verdicts, but that should never damage the judicial system,” he said.
