Victim’s father, two others found guilty in Paravoor sex scandal case

Kochi: The Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court Thursday found the victim’s father and two others guilty in the Paravoor sex scandal case. Two others were acquitted by Judge Mini S Das.
First accused and father of the survivor Sudheer, fourth accused Naushad and fifth accused Hari were found guilty by the court in the eleventh case in the scandal.
The court will pronounce the quantum of punishment on Friday.
The prosecution case is that the girl was taken to a house at Methala near Kodungalloor with the knowledge of her father where other two accused raped her several times in January 2010.
The case pertains to the sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl from Paravoor. In April 2009, Sudheer sexually assaulted his daughter after threatening to kill her. Later, he threw her into the flesh market.
The case came to light when a complaint was lodged after the girl narrated her ordeal to her aunt.
