text_fieldsbookmark_border
Thiruvananthapuram: The Opposition Thursday moved an adjournment motion in the Assembly alleging that the government was trying to sabotage the probe into the Titanium corruption case.
Elemaram Kareem, who moved the adjournment motion, said it was a big lapse that no FIR had been registered against the accused in the case.
In reply to it, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said the High Court had so far not directed to register an FIR in the case.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said he had no role in the corruption case.
“If the Titanium case is a corruption case then it first began during the LDF. It was the LDF which laid the foundation stone for the project,” Chandy said.
