Bank robbers strike again in Kasargod

Cheruvathur: Three weeks after some persons Robbers broke into a bank here early morning Monday and reportedly fled with cash and gold.

This robbery at the Cheruvathur branch of Vijaya Bank closely follows on the heels of Kudla Cooperative Service Bank looting in Kasargod on September 7.

The burglars entered the bank that functions on the first floor of a building by destroying the ceiling of a ground-floor room.

As per reports, the total loss is estimated to be around Rs 4.5 cr.

The robbery was first noticed by the bank employees who came for duty in the morning.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
