Thiruvananthapuram: The Crime Branch on Friday busted an online sex racket in a raid conducted in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram.
Twelve persons, including five women, were arrested following the raids led by Crime Branch ADGP on Friday night.
The arrested were later taken to Thiruvananthapuram for questioning.
The police had got information about the group’s functioning using a website that was registered abroad. An investigation was launched after the probe team acquired permission to act against the website.
The per reports, the gang had trapped even school students into the trade.
