Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader V.S Achuthanandan Wednesday said that if it was proved that Vellappally Natesan was behind the murder of Sivagiri mutt seer, the former would be going to Poojapura jail and not to Kasi.
“Varanasi is Modi's constituency and that is the reason why Vellappally wanted to go to Kasi,” said Achuthanandan.
On Tuesday, Natesan had said there was no foul play in death of Sivagiri Mutt head Saswathikananda.
Vellappally reiterated that he was ready to face any probe and said he would tonsure his head and leave for Kasi if proven guilty in the case.
