Kozhikode: Muslim League leader P K Kunhalikutty on Saturday said Muslim League is a secular party and it does not any communal or extremist elements.
“Muslim League is a secular party. We know how to lead our workers and leaders in that path,” Kunhalikuty said, in an apparent reply to SNDP Yogam leader Vellapally Natesan.
“The party has always kept secular values in its functioning. That is what our former leaders taught us,” Kunhalikutty, the Industries Minister, said while talking at Women’s League Conference here.
Natesan, while speaking at the reception accorded to his Samatva Munnetta Yatra, in Malappuram on Thursday, had said some of the leaders of the Muslim League were ideologically communal.
