Won’t support Jose K Mani’s induction in cabinet: P.C George

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Whip P C George Saturday has said he will not support any move to induct Jose K Mani in the cabinet if K M Mani resigns from the post over the bar bribery issue.

“There are many senior leaders in the Kerala Congress (M) who are eligible to become the minister. I won’t support if there is any move to make Jose K Mani as minister,” P.C George told reporters at a press conference here.

“Kerala Congress is not a property of any family,” he said.

“The charges against K.M Mani are baseless. There is no need for him to resign on the political or moral grounds,” George said.

“The Kerala Congress will stand together for K.M Mani,” he added.
