Murder of security guard: Police to interrogate Nizam’s wife

Thrissur: The Thrissur police will interrogate controversial Thrissur-based businessman Muhammad Nizam’s wife in connection with the murder of a 50-year-old security guard here last month.
The police have sent a notice to Amal, Nizam’s wife, asking her to be present for the questioning.
According to statements given by the witnesses in the case, Amal was an eye-witness of the incident. Her whereabouts are unknown.
Chandarabose, who was seriously injured after Nizam allegedly rammed his luxury vehicle into him in a fit of rage, died in a nearby private hospital on 16 February.
Nizam, arrested in connection with the incident, is presently in police custody.
He allegedly roughed up Chandarabose and then dragged him to the wall of the parking lot and ran his Hummer vehicle into his body for delay in opening the gate of the apartment complex, where he worked.
