Missing medical officer found dead

Kalpetta: Wayanad district medical officer P V Sashidharan, who had been missing since Monday, was found dead on Tuesday.

Sashidharan was found hanging at his own clinic at Panthalloor near Manchery, Malappuram on Tuesday amid speculations of him being abducted by Maoists.

The police have recovered a suicide note from the spot.

In the note that left no clue to the reason of his suicide, he has asked to hang his framed photo at the DMO office after his death.
