New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday extended the bail of Abdul Nasser Ma’dani, accused in the 2008 Bangalore serial blast case, for a week.
The PDP leader’s another plea, seeking permission to be allowed to get medical treatment in Kerala, will be heard on September 26.
The Supreme Court, which had granted Ma'dani one month bail on July 11 on health grounds, had directed him to stay in Bangalore city for his treatment.
The apex court had earlier extended his bail to four more weeks on August 22 after his lawyer pleaded that his client was suffering from chronic ailments and visual impairment and needed more treatment.
Madani is listed as the 31st accused in the additional chargesheet in the Bangalore blasts case on July 25, 2008.
