DMRC principal advisor E Sreedharan inspects Metro alignment

Kochi: E Sreedharan, Principal Advisor Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Thursday inspected the Metro construction alignment from Maharaja's College up to Aluva with special focus on repairs to the road surface.
The 'Metro man' was generally satisfied with the road repairs and instructed the contractor to complete the remaining work also within two to three days.
Sreedharan was also satisfied with the progress being achieved on civil works and asked contractors to complete all basic civil works by October 2015 to enable system contractors take up track laying, third rail installation, Power supply and signalling works, a press release said.
He also visited Muttom Depot and gave directions to complete essential works by the time the first train is received in the Depot by about January 2016.
