Manoj murder: Vikraman undergoes medical check-up

Kannur: K. Vikraman, prime suspect in the case of murder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) functionary E. Manoj, on Saturday underwent health check-up at the Kozhikode Medical College.

Sources said the health check-up was part of the investigation into the murder case.

It was on Thursday morning that the suspect dramatically surrendered before the court amidst speculations that he was planning to surrender.

According to reports, Vikraman Friday had admitted his role in the murder of RSS leader Manoj. He had also conceded that the burn injuries on his body were the result of the bomb blast.

K.T Manoj (43), a local RSS functionary, was hacked to death and another one suffered serious injuries in an attack by a group of assailants on September 1.
