Kannur: Activists of a tribal outfit waved black flags against Urban Affairs Minister Manjalamkuzhi Ali, who had come to take the salute at the Independence Day parade here, in Kannur on Friday.
Six activists belonging to the Kerala State Pattika Samajam were taken into custody after they came running to the parade ground waving black flags against the Minister.
They were protesting against the delay in implementing the programme of the tribals in Aaralem farm in Kannur district.
