Thrissur: In what seems to be a sign of growing feud in the State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), three of the party stalwarts did not attend the leaders’ meet held here on Thursday.
Senior leader and BJP national secretary P K Krishnadas, advocate P S Sreedharan Pillai and Mahila Morcha leader Shobha Surendran did not attend the meet held at Hotel Elite here.
The meet was presided over by state president V Muraleedharan.
Talking to reporters prior to the meeting, Muraleedharan said that the party had not discussed anything related to the alliance with Kerala Congress (M).
He also refuted reports of disagreements within the party over the issue.
