Trump calls Chinese trade practices ‘vicious’
text_fieldsWashington: U. S President Donald Trump in a verbal outburst called China’s trade practices “vicious”. His latest blast came in the wake of a deepening trade war between the two giants.
Trump took to Twitter commenting “China is targeting our farmers, who they know I love& respect, as a way of getting me to continue allowing them to take advantage of the U.S.” AFP reported. Trump then dubbed China’s trade practices “Vicious”, and said that “we were being nice—until now”. According to him, China made $ 517 Billion on U.S last year.
In what could be a called a bitter trade war, earlier U.S imposed 25% tariff on $ 34 billion worth of Chinese products inviting a response in the same coin with China targeting U.S agriculture products. What irked Trump most was China’s targeting of politically sensitive American agriculture goods.
