"Unfortunately MP": Union minister slams Rahul saying truth's out

New Delhi: After Rahul Gandhi's mistake of "unfortunately, I am MP" remark, Union Minister Anurag Thakur took a jibe, saying that sometimes truth comes out. He added that it is "unfortunate" that Rahul is an MP, Asian News International reported.
A day ago, Rahul had a slip of the tongue at a press conference where he said, "unfortunately, I am MP", but his colleague Jairam Ramesh corrected him.
Thakur told ANI that it is indeed unfortunate that Rahul is a member of Parliament since he uses foreign soil to defame India and its Parliament and spread lies about the country. He said that now, RAHUL stands for 'Regretful Awful Hateful Ungrateful Liar'. He demanded that Rahul must pay an unconditional apology.
He asked that to put conditions to it, is Rahul above the rule of the land and the House. He asked if the Gandhi family felt that they were above the country and the Parliament.
Taking his attack further, the BJP leader said that Mr Gandhi's attendance is below the average attendance of the Parliament.
He then said that Rahul's attendance in the Parliament is below average. Rahul must understand that Parliament is run as per the rules and procedures of the House, along with the directions of the Speaker. But it would happen only if he comes to the House and reads the rules and procedures himself, the minister said.
After Rahul made a mistake, and Jairam Ramesh intervened, Rahul said: "Unfortunately for you, I am a Member of Parliament, and as the allegation has been made in Parliament by four ministers, it is my right to have the opportunity to have my say on the floor of Parliament. It is my democratic right," NDTV quoted from a video that went viral on social media.
Jairam Ramesh responded to BJP mocking Rahul slamming PM Modi using prompters. He said that they speak to the media freely instead of using teleprompters. He added that the new issue was to deviate the public's attention from the 'Modani' scam.
