Saudi Arabia launches unified digital platform for tourism services at LEAP 2026

Applying for a tourism licence, checking compliance requirements or finding professional training in Saudi Arabia can now begin from one digital destination.
The Ministry of Tourism launched its Unified Tourism Services Platform during the LEAP 2026 technology conference.
Known as the Tourism Platform, the service brings together government processes used by tourism investors, professionals and sector employees.
What can users do on the platform?
The platform provides access to services covering:
- Tourism licensing
- Regulatory compliance
- Investment
- Training
- Professional development
- Other digital tourism services
Users will be able to manage different tourism-related tasks through the same interface instead of navigating separate service channels.
The ministry said the system is intended to simplify procedures, reduce the time required to find services and make government processes easier to use.
Services from different parts of the tourism sector will be connected through the platform in co-operation with relevant stakeholders.
An AI assistant for questions
The platform includes Tourism X, an artificial intelligence service designed to help users locate services and receive answers to their questions.
The assistant provides an additional way for investors, employees and tourism professionals to navigate the platform without having to search through each section independently.
Tourism X forms part of the ministry’s work to provide a more accessible digital experience for people working in or entering the sector.
The Ministry of Tourism’s existing website, mt.gov.sa, will remain active.
It will continue to publish official information, news, initiatives and regulations related to the ministry.
The new Tourism Platform will have a separate purpose: it will serve as the main destination for accessing and using tourism services.
Ministry spokesperson Nasser Al-Ansari said the platform builds on continuing efforts to improve digital government services.
He said it would strengthen co-ordination among organisations involved in tourism and improve the delivery of services to users.
The ministry expects the system to support the growth of Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector and contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
