Jammu: Days after Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat was shot dead by terrorists, Kashmiri Pandits residing in Pulwama district received death threats from a terrorist group.

Lashkar-e-Islam wrote to the president of the migrant colony at the Hawal Transit accommodation asking all migrants "to leave or face death", according to India Today.

The letter also said there was no space for Kashmiri Pandits who wanted another Israel in Kashmir to kill Kashmiri Muslims.

The chilling warning dared authorities to double or triple their security, but get ready for targeted killing, adding "You will die".

Rahul Bhat was reportedly gunned down by the terror group 'Kashmir Tigers'.

Rahul Bhat got the job of clerk under the special employment package for migrants in 2011.

He was shot dead by terrorists inside his office in central Kashmir's Budgam district.

Rahul Bhat's family and community members accused the central government of making young Kashmiri Hindus "cannon fodder" in the name of rehabilitation of the community, according to PTI.
