Tarun Chugh targets Kejriwal, says CAG report will expose 'Sheesh Mahal' corruption
text_fieldsAs the Delhi Assembly prepares to present the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh launched a strong attack on former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing his government of widespread corruption.
Chugh asserted that once the CAG report is made public, the so-called "arrogant emperor" of the Sheesh Mahal and his team of scamsters will have no place to hide.
In an interaction with IANS, Chugh reiterated that the BJP-led government in Delhi remains committed to exposing corruption and ensuring transparency in governance.
"Our government is determined to reveal the truth and expose those who have indulged in fraud and mismanagement," Chugh said, adding that the CAG findings would provide concrete evidence of the previous administration’s wrongdoings.
He accused Kejriwal’s team of attempting to mislead the public with diversionary tactics to shift attention away from their alleged failures. Calling the former Delhi Chief Minister’s administration a 'scam company,' Chugh said their methods were rooted in deception and political misdirection.
Highlighting the BJP’s vision for Delhi, Chugh affirmed that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the government is dedicated to transforming the capital into a developed and efficient city. "With the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, we will ensure that Delhi progresses towards development and good governance," he stated.
Chugh also took aim at Opposition leaders, accusing them of attempting to divide the nation through caste-based politics and by discrediting India’s democratic institutions.
He strongly condemned those who, in his view, were trying to defame the Maha Kumbh Mela, calling it a sacred event that unites millions of Sanatanis across the world. "The Maha Kumbh symbolizes India’s spiritual and cultural heritage. Over 60 crore devotees have gathered for this holy occasion, cutting across caste and community lines," Chugh said.
