New Delhi: The high-level committee, constituted by the Education Ministry to look into the examination process of the National Testing Agency, sought suggestions, views and ideas from students and parents days after entrance exams were mired in controversies.

The panel chaired by Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, former Chairman of ISRO, will accept suggestions and feedback via a special website - https://innovateindia.mygov.in/examination-reforms-nta/, between June 27 and July 7, 2024according to NDTV.

The National Testing Agency came under fire after the NEET-UG tests for admission to medical courses, and the UGC-NET exam for professorial posts in colleges and universities were postponed following alleged irregularities.

The Congress-led INDIA bloc raised the issue in both houses of the parliament putting the NDA government on the defensive, according to the report.

However, the government on Friday expressed willingness to have a discussion on the matter but showed no interest today, eventually adjourning the parliament till Monday.

The students wing of the Congress, the NSUI, or National Students Union of India, took out a march on Thursday with workers barging into the Delhi office of the NTA.

Hours before this protest, the Congress' youth wing, the Indian Youth Congress, had protested near Parliament as President Droupadi Murmu addressed a joint session.

Meanwhile, President Droupadi Murmu said the government is ‘committed to a fair investigation ‘ into the NEET exam row.
