Shocking: Bengaluru woman gets live cobra in Amazon package

Bengaluru: A woman in the city has a shock of her life when she opened a package from Amazon, seeing a live cobra inside it, NDTV reported.
Thankfully, the venomous snake, stuck to the packaging tape, did not harm her.
The woman, residing on Sarjapur Road, was waiting for an Xbox controller she had ordered on the online retailer when she was left alarmed to see the snake.
Although mix-ups of packages are known to be happening frequently during delivery, this could be the first instance where a snake arrived in a package.
She managed to take a video showing the half-opened Amazon package kept inside a bucket.
The cobra stuck in the packaging tape is seen attempting to escape.
Identified as Spectacled Cobra, the snake is a highly venomous species indigenous to Karnataka and it was later reported to be released to safety.
Amazon Help responded to the incident saying: ‘We're sorry to know about the inconvenience you've had with the Amazon order. We'd like to have this checked. Please share the required details here, and our team will get back to you soon with an update.’

Another user said: ''Losing my trust in online delivery these days. A few days ago, delivery boy asked me to collect the product from their regional office because he thought my home was too far for him.''
