Rajasthan BJP MLA says Muslims' 'Land Jihad' forces Hindus to migrate
text_fieldsJaipur: After the coinage and wide use of 'Love Jihad' to target Muslim youth's affairs with non-Muslim women, the BJP in Rajasthan now claims there is 'Land Jihad' with the intention to grab Hindu lands and force them to leave the place.
BJP MLA from Rajasthan's Malpura in Tonk, Kanhaiya Lal, claimed that the Muslims are running a campaign to buy lands and homes belonged to Hindu community at exorbitant rates more than the state government-specified rates, The Indian Express reported quoting the MLA's speech in the Assembly.
The MLA not only termed the land purchases illegal and unauthorised, but also alleged that the Muslims engage in constant fight with their Hindu neighbours. He also alleged that Malpura has witnessed communal incidents since 1950 in which hundreds of people lost their lives.
Due to Muslims objectionable and indecent acts created an insecure and fearful environment in the region and forced around 600-800 Hindu families to leave the place, Lal said.
Listing nine wards, the BJP MLA claimed that most Hindu families from these wards have migrated as these are adjacent to the Muslim locality. Listing two other wards, he said that these have Jain temples while accusing Muslims of throwing leftover bones along the way.
