Land mafia helped by IAS officer encroach Bengaluru property: singer Lucky Ali alleges

Singer Lucky Ali urged the Karnataka Director General of Police to stop 'land mafia' from encroaching upon a property he owns in Bengaluru.

Tweeting on Sunday Ali alleged that encroaching is happening with the help from IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri, according to Indian Express.

Ali said he was not getting help from local police despite filing a complaint with the Assistant Commissioner of Police concerned.

Ali tweeted it was a "Trust Property", which is "being encroached on illegally by Sudhir Reddy (and Madhu Reddy) from the Bangalore Land Mafia. With the help of his wife who is an IAS Officer by the name of Rohini Sindhuri."

Denying the allegation by the singer, Sindhuri said she would sue Ali for defamation, adding that "there is an injunction against him" over his claim to the property.

Meanwhile, Sindhuri's brother-in-law Madhusudhan Reddy claimed to have documents to prove his ownership of three acres of land near Yelahanka in Bengaluru, according to the report.

Reddy also claimed he inherited the property earlier this year after his father's demise.

A First Information Report (FIR) filed against Reddy at Yelahanka New Town police station on November 28 said Reddy purchased the property on April 30 from Lukcy Ali's brother Mansoor Ali.

An injunction issued in 2016 against Lucky Ali reportedly restrained the singer from "interfering with plaintiff's possession", as per the documents shared by Reddy.
