No plastic tri-colour flags for Independence Day celebrations

Thiruvananthapuram: In a green initiative, the state government banned production and distribution of plastic tri-colour flags on Wednesday for the Independence Day celebrations.

The general administration department in its circular made it clear that green protocol should be adhered to during the celebrations, an official release said.
