Kozhikode: Brazil's Club Atletico Paranaense will take on Watform FC, England in the inaugural Sait Nagjee Trophy International Club Championship 2016 at Corporation E M S Stadium here Friday.

Other teams taking part in the 17-day event of revived Nagjee Trophy tournament are FC Rapid Bucuresti (Romania), FC Volyn Lutsk (Romania), Argentina U 23, TSV 1860 Munchen (Germany), Shamrock Rovers FC (Ireland) and FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (Ukraine).

Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho Gaucho, who has been appointed brand ambassador of the mega event, had formally kicked off the encounter here on January 24.
