Mumbai: The dynamic between celebrities and paparazzi can be fraught with tension, often teetering between invasion of privacy and media coverage. Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently slammed the paparazzi's behaviour while he was out with his family.

The actor was seen reprimanding some paparazzi while accompanying his wife, Mira Rajput, at a public event.

As he and Mira were headed to an event, Shahid was overheard saying, "Tu chilla kyu raha hai?" (Why are you shouting?) to one of the paparazzi who were clamouring for his attention. He continued, "Chilla kyu raha hai? Kya ho jayega? Main yehi khada hu na? Pagalon ki tarah kyu chilla raha hai?" (Why are you shouting? I'm here only. Then why are you shouting like a maniac?) He then advised the photographer to relax as he was present. "Jab main gaadi me chala jaunga na fir chillana." (After I leave in my car then you can shout). Then, he slowly moved away from the commotion.

Dressed in a silver suit and pants, Shahid and Mira were attending the wedding celebration of Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur’s son Ruhaan Kapoor and Manukriti Pahwa in Mumbai.

Shahid Kapoor was previously set to star in Anees Bazmee's comedy film, reportedly titled "Double Trouble," where he was slated to play dual roles opposite Rashmika Mandanna. However, Shahid recently withdrew from the project due to creative differences. A source told Pinkvilla, "Shahid Kapoor and Anees Bazmee have amicably decided to part ways on this comic caper."

The actor's next venture is the Roshan Andrews-directed drama "Koi Shaq," produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Zee Studios. Filming for this project will start in September 2023, with an expected release in 2024. Shahid is also paired with Kriti Sanon for an untitled romantic film produced by Dinesh Vijan, scheduled for release in December. Shahid was last seen in the well-received crime drama web series "Farzi," directed by Raj and DK.
