New Delhi: After his luggage went missing, actor Rana Daggubati said he had the "worst airline experience ever" with IndiGo. He added that the staff is clueless about flight times and tracking luggage.

He tweeted: "India's worst airline experience ever!! Clueless with flight times…Missing luggage not tracked…staff has no clue. Can it be any shittier !!" He also shared a GIF of the airline logo and tagged the company on the tweet.

The airline responded to the actor's tweet and apologised for the "discomfort" over missing luggage. "While we apologise for the inconvenience caused in the meantime, please be assured, our team is actively working to get your luggage delivered to you at the earliest," said IndiGo.

Many responded to Daggubati's tweet agreeing with his experience and offering their own experience. One user said IndiGo aircrafts have mosquitoes and he experienced it on a flight from Coimbatore to Hyderabad. Others spoke of poor luggage handling and flight delays. Another said staff often refuses to give information on changing gates and keep using their mobile phones.

This is not the first time IndiGo's services are being scrutinised for being careless. A recent video showed that baggage handlers employed by IndiGo are carelessly offloading two boxes from the aircraft to a container. A user shared the video and asked: "Is this how you handle all flight luggage every day or today was special?" The airline assured that customers' luggage was not mishandled and the boxes in the video had non-fragile cargo. IndiGo clarified that the boxes are packed to endure fast manoeuvres.

In June, actress Pooja Hegde also criticised the rude behaviour of IndiGo staff. She said they used an "arrogant, ignorant, and threatening tone for no reason." The airline apologised to her and asked to connect with its team.
