ED summons Shah Rukh over forex violation

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday summoned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan over forex violation.

According to reports, an audit by the ED found that the shares of Shah Rukh's Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders were undervalued, leading to the infringement.

The actor reportedly has till the end of the month to appear before the ED.

Last month, ED had summoned Shah Rukh Khan questioning him about the violation, during the inquiry of IPL cricket teams which violated several rules for money transaction. An audit by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) concluded that Kolkata Knight Riders' shares were undervalued during a transfer transaction.
