Tasty Nibbles, an international food brand headquartered in Kerala, has unveiled its latest offering, the Ready-to-Eat Puttu Pack.

The company has also launched Ready-to-Eat Onam Sadhya Pack Season 2, building upon the popularity and positive response received for the Season 1 Sadhya Pack. Cine actor Anu Sithara received the new products from the Managing Director of Tasty Nibbles, Cherian Kurian, during a launch ceremony held in Kozhikode on July 12.

Addressing a press conference held as part of the ceremony, Cherian Kurian said that the authentic tastes of Kerala could now be savoured worldwide during Onam with the convenient retort packs offered by Tasty Nibbles. He added, "Say goodbye to cooking hassles and enjoy preservative-free food. Simply open the packs, and heat and eat the dishes."

Puttu tours the world

Tasty Nibbles Ready-to-Eat Puttu brings the traditional flavour of Kerala's timeless dish to dining tables worldwide. This delicious dish is made with steamed rice flour and grated coconut, resulting in a unique and satisfying anytime meal. Puttu pairs well with various vegetarian and non-vegetarian side dishes or maybe savoured with bananas. "Tasty Nibbles Puttu retains the authentic softness, texture, and flavour of this traditional dish," he said.

Tasty Nibbles Ready-to-Eat Puttu (200g), priced at Rs 120, will have an exclusive initial release at the company's online store (www.tastynibbles.in) followed by availability at major supermarkets.

Ready-to-eat sadhya

Tasty Nibbles Ready-to-Eat Onam Sadhya Season 2 Pack contains 13 items, including 1 kg of cooked Matta Rice (four packets of 250 g each), two packets (each weighing 200 g) of Sambar Curry, one packet (weighing 200 g) each of Aviyal, Olan, Kalan, Kootukari, Cabbage Thoran and Tender Mango Pickle, a 200 g jar of Pulinchi and a 100 g packet of Banana Chips.

It includes three varieties of payasam — a packet each of Instant Palada Payasam Mix (200 g), Instant Vermicelli Kheer Mix (200 g), and Instant Kadumpayasam Mix (100 g). Each pack serves up to four persons. Tasty Nibbles Ready-to-Eat Onam Sadhya Season 2 Pack is exclusively available for purchase through the company’s online store (www.tastynibbles.in). Priced at Rs 1,780, the pack is available through a special limited-time online offer at Rs 1,499.

Preservative-free through retort processing

Tasty Nibbles uses a special sterilisation method called 'retort processing' to package their dishes. This process allows them to pack the food without the need for any preservatives while retaining the nutrients. The pre-cooked meals are sealed in pouches or cans and subjected to high temperature and pressure, enabling them to be stored at room temperature for 18 months.

Tasty Nibbles maintains a close partnership with its primary shareholder, Higashimaru International Corporation of Japan. They operate a factory that meets the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and FSSC 22000 standards, ensuring top-notch processing and quality control. These rigorous protocols guarantee that their ready-to-eat products are completely free from preservatives and chemical additives. Tasty Nibbles offers a diverse selection of ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook items, including biryanis, curries, pickles, payasam, and snacks.

Expanding operations

Sunil Krishnan, assistant vice-president (sales) of Tasty Nibbles, shared the company's plans for the future, emphasising its commitment to introducing a variety of cutting-edge food products. "These offerings aim to combine modern technology, exceptional taste, and convenience, meeting the evolving needs of consumers," he said.
