Zelensky urges global protests as Ukraine-Russia war marks one month

Kyiv: Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday called on citizens of countries around the world to launch protests in their own nations, In a bid to mount international pressure on Russia to stop its invasion.
In a raging speech on the eve of a one-month anniversary of Russia's invasion, Zelensky urged people around the globe "to stand against the war starting from March 24... and after then" to speak up against Russia's bloody war.
"From March 24, come with Ukrainian symbols to support Ukraine, to support freedom & life, come to your squares, to your streets and make yourselves visible and heard," Zelenskyy said in a video address in English.
"We all must stop Russia. The world must stop the war. I thank everyone who acts in support of Ukraine. In support of freedom. But the war continues. The acts of terror against peaceful people go on," he said.
"One month already! That long! It breaks my heart, hearts of all Ukrainians and every free person on the planet. That's why I ask you to stand against the war," Zelenskyy appealed.
As the Russia-Ukraine war enters Day 29, the two nations are gearing up for another round of negotiations.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) said it had verified 64 incidents of attacks on Ukrainian healthcare facilities and workers since the Russian invasion began on February 24. Kyiv and Moscow had earlier agreed to establish nine humanitarian corridors.
